"Each of us lives a life of contradictory truths."

We have an illusion of the person we want to be, but often, we turn out to be the exact opposite. sometimes, we have youthful, wild dreams that often turn out to be a nightmare!

When i was much younger, i used to dream about studying overseas...in a place far, far away where the buildings were exact replicas of castles, the weather was more than just sunny and rainy, the professors were frontiers in their little-known research field and the student body was packed with good-looking "ang mo" guys.

When i was much younger, i used to think that life abroad equals unlimited freedom, freedom that meant no late-night phone calls from daddy asking me to hurry home at 2am from a bar nor irritating, kind reminders to clean my mess.

When i was much younger, i used to have the impression that its all glitz and glamor when you can say, "oh, by the way, i'm studying the YOU KAY"
